News18 has learnt that a special invite for Prime Minister’s oath taking ceremony has been sent to beneficiaries of the Central government schemes.

Narendra Modi will be taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time in a row on June 9, according to sources. This is going to be Modi’s third term as India’s Prime Minister, which is itself a big record that has in the past only been held by India’s first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Modi is also known to doing different things and at the same time, doing things differently.

The list of invitees for his oath taking ceremony runs into several hundreds. Apart from political leaders, both from the treasury benches and the opposition, there is going to be a significant presence of people from the film fraternity, sports fraternity, top industrialists and businessmen among others.

But here is what sets Narendra Modi different from all the others in the past. Modi has prepared a list of special invitees who will attend the big day. News18 has learnt that a special invite has been sent to beneficiaries of the Central government schemes. A few transgenders have also been invited. Apart from this, an invitation has been sent to labourers who have worked on the Central Vista project that includes the building of the new Parliament. An invitation has also been sent to safai karamcharis or sanitation workers. As the strong ambassadors of building a strong India, there has also been an invitation sent to people who have worked in the railways on key projects like Vande Bharat trains and the Metro project. Modi has been speaking on the importance of a developed India by 2047. To mark the significance of that, several people who worked as ambassadors of Viksit Bharat have also been invited for the ceremony.

“The prime minister is known to respect the contribution of every ambassador who has been involved in the building of a strong nation. Gone are the days when the invites were sent only to VIPs and VVIPs. Our prime minister considers those who never get their dues or importance as VIP guests,” a source told News18.

The source further added, “10 special invites from the above categories have been informed that they would be watching this ceremony. We have seen how the prime minister has been popular amongst every strata of the society. He has considered nobody small. Anybody who has worked for a better India will be given their due recognition.”

A lot of changes have been witnessed in the national capital, which is said to be the power centre of Indian politics ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to the forefront. One of the examples of the same has been giving away of the Padma Awards, which people of the country delightfully now recognise as people’s Padma. The recognition has been given to the most unrecognised talents across the country in various fields.

In the past one decade, it has been witnessed that during several interactions on big days, whether it was during the inauguration of the Central Vista project or other such days, Prime Minister Modi interacts with the labourers who have been working on the project and have been toiling on ground. Often during his visits for programs, he has also been seen interacting with sanitation workers and paying his respectful tributes to them for taking India on the growth path.

Even before the elections got underway, the prime minister was very vocal about the plans of his government and himself on what India’s growth map would look like. Modi has spoken about a completely developed India by 2047, vouching for Viksit Bharat. In several rallies, Modi has stressed that he is not the kind who wants to waste time. He assured the people of the country that the moment the election results are out, and the government is in, they will begin the journey for a better India, the blueprint for the same has already been prepared even before elections when the government had taken into account what it needs to do in the first hundred days and also in the next five years.
