Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has once again presented his opinion about the abrogation of Article 370 from Kashmir. Targeting Kashmiri leaders, he said that before the abrogation of Article 370, 80% of the funds allocated for Jammu and Kashmir used to go into the pockets of the leaders here.

Speaking at the launch event of a book in Nagpur on Saturday, he said- ‘Whatever was done in the name of Kashmir before the removal of Article 370, 80% of it went into the pockets of the leaders here. He did not reach the people. Now after the removal of this article, local people are experiencing for the first time what it is like to be associated with development and how to get government benefits.

Kashmir has to be linked with the whole country
He said that there are still some people in the Kashmir Valley who think that India should get independence. So we have to make all efforts to connect them with the rest of the country. Just like all the parts of the body are connected to each other.

Mohan Bhagwat said- ‘I had gone to Jammu and Kashmir some time ago, when I saw the situation there. After the abrogation of Article 370, the path of development has been opened for all. Earlier people of Jammu and Ladakh had to face discrimination, but now it is not so.

On RSS foundation day, there was talk of making arrangements for terrorists
Two days ago, in a function organized in Nagpur on Vijayadashami and the foundation day of RSS, he had said that I came through Jammu and Kashmir. After the removal of 370 there, the general public is getting good benefits, but the target killing of Hindus is being done in the valley. The activities of terrorists will also have to be arranged, selectively as they used to do earlier. They are resorting to targeted violence to demoralize. Their aim is only one – to create their own fear. The government will also have to arrange this very carefully.

Article 370 was removed two years ago
Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday launched two books – Modern Ladakhche Maker Ekonisave Kushok Baluka and Jammu and Kashmir: Historical Perspectives After Amendment of Article 370. In August 2019, the central government removed Article 370 giving special rights to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and divided it into Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
