Former actress Sana Khan, who surprised everyone with her decision to leave last year Bollywood, turned 34 today. The former Bigg Boss contestant said that she wants to “serve humanity and follow my producer’s orders”. Sana, who was seen in films like ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ Salman Khan The starrer Jai Ho married Surat-based businessman Anas Syed in a private ceremony in November 2020. Sana is currently holidaying in Maldives with her husband and has been providing us with updates via social media.
The 34-year-old has experienced many ups and downs in her career. Her decision to stay away from the film industry also made her a target of trolls.
Sana was born and brought up in Dharavi, Mumbai. His father is a Malayali Muslim from Kannur, Kerala and mother Saeeda is from Mumbai. She made her debut in 2005 with the film ‘Yeh Hai High Society’. After that she appeared in many commercials.
After making special appearances in the Hindi films Bombay to Goa and Dhan Dhana Dhan Lakshya, Sana played the lead role in the 2008 Tamil film Silambattam alongside actor Silambarasan. Silambattam did quite well at the box office and Sana bagged some decent projects in the south. He acted in several Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films during his career spanning almost 15 years.
Sana made her TV debut with Bigg Boss Season 6 where she was the second runner up. She also appeared as a contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2015 and Kitchen Champion in 2019.
In 2013, he was declared an absconder after he was accused of kidnapping a 15-year-old girl, who allegedly rejected her cousin’s proposal of marriage. Sana was arrested a year later for allegedly threatening and molesting a media consultant with her then-boyfriend Ismail Khan and a house help.
Prior to her marriage with Anas, Sana was in the news for her break up with choreographer Melvin Lewis.
