New Delhi: samsung Recently launched its foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The company is now preparing to launch its next generation Galaxy S series smartphones. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones early next year.
Since, the company will not be launching a new Galaxy Note series smartphone, the Galaxy S22 launch will be the company’s next big launch. A recent online report revealed that Samsung is thinking of including a bigger 200MP main camera in the upcoming Galaxy S22 series. The report also revealed that Samsung will partner with Olympus for the same. To recall, Olympus is a Japanese manufacturer of cameras and optical technology.
However, now it seems that will not happen. According to the Android Authority report, Olympus has denied any collaboration with Samsung. In a statement provided to Android Authority, Olympus’ marketing officer said, “The only official statement I can make to you about this is that there is nothing to speak of or announce from our point of view.”
This is a vague statement as it does not completely negate the partnership. But for now it seems that the two companies are not working together on the Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 smartphone series in January next year. The report also stated that Samsung Galaxy S22 Will also come with S Pen support. It is also said that the Galaxy S22 will be the company’s first smartphone to come with a Samsung/AMD GPU.
