Samsung is working on the Galaxy 23 under the codename “Project Diamond”

After the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung is now gearing up to launch the flagship smartphone for 2023- the Galaxy S23 series. While little is known about the Samsung Galaxy S23 right now, rumors suggest that the Galaxy S23 is being developed under the codename Project Diamond.

Online reports suggest that Samsung is working on its new range of foldable smartphones called the N4 and the new Project Diamond codename is specifically reserved for the next Galaxy S series flagship smartphones.

Samsung developed the Galaxy S22 series under the codename Project Rainbow.

Talking about foldable phones, Samsung’s next-generation foldable phone is expected to see significant improvements in terms of weight and water resistance. The upcoming foldable smartphone is also reported to have under-display selfie cameras.

In the case of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, as per the leak, there will be under-display selfie cameras on both the screen, front and back. The hinges for both the phones are likely to use a lightweight framework which could potentially reduce the weight of the phone. Apart from this, the leak also mentions that the smartphone maker is improving the water resistance for both the phones and adding dust-resistance feature to them.
