Now a new online report suggests that Samsung has canceled the launch of the Fan Edition of the Galaxy S21 smartphone.
According to a report by South Korean publication DDaily, the smartphone maker has canceled the launch of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. According to the report, a Samsung official has said that the company has canceled the October Galaxy Unpacked event for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition smartphone. He further said that the company has given up on launching smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Can’t launch at all.
The report also states that the reason for the cancellation of the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE is due to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. The company’s recently launched foldable smartphone is selling really well so the company decided not to launch the Galaxy S21 FE. Apart from this, the lack of global chip is also the reason for the launch cancellation.
To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August this year. The foldable smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and runs Android 11 operating system.
The phone is IPX8 water resistant and is protected by Corning Gorilla GLass Victus. Samsung is using the same Armor aluminum frame in the Z Flip 3 as well. For the camera, there is a dual camera setup with a 12MP ultrawide sensor with F2.2 aperture, 12MP wide, F1.8 aperture, OIS and autofocus. Inside, the main display houses a 10MP selfie camera with F2.4 aperture.
