New Delhi: Samsung India on Monday said it has received bumper pre-bookings for its newly launched Galaxy S23 series in India, with over 1,40,000 units worth Rs 1,400 crore booked in the first 24 hours. That’s a record for its flagship device. portfolio in the country.

Samsung started pre-bookings for its new Galaxy S23 series on February 2 across online and offline retail stores in the country.
“The record pre-bookings in the first 24 hours reflect the excitement among Indian consumers about the Galaxy S23 series’ stunning camera capabilities, future-ready mobile gaming experience and eco-friendly ingredients,” said Pullan.
Customers pre-booking the Galaxy S23 Ultra can get the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE Classic and Galaxy Buds 2 at a special price of Rs 4,999, effectively saving over Rs 43,000 on both these devices.
Galaxy S23 comes with an all-new 200MP sensor with Ultra Adaptive Pixel that can capture images with stunning details. With Super Quad Pixel AF, the rear camera can focus on subjects up to 50 percent faster.
The front camera of the Galaxy S23 series now comes with Dual Pixel Autofocus technology with Nightography, which allows shooting with the front camera even in low-light conditions. The Dual Pixel autofocus technology also ensures 60 percent faster focus than the front camera.
The Galaxy S23 series starts at Rs 74,999 in India and comes in three variants – S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra in Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender colours. Galaxy S23 Ultra (12/256GB) price starts at Rs 124,999.
The company already meets most of the domestic demand in India through local manufacturing at its Noida factory. Samsung inaugurated the world’s largest mobile factory in Noida in 2018, with an aim to make India a global manufacturing hub.
