Design

The display also supports HDR10 and HDR10+ playback which works across all apps and games. Be it watching videos or playing games, it was a pleasant experience despite the Samsung Galaxy S22’s small size. The 120Hz refresh rate makes the experience super sleek when you do normal social media scrolling. Samsung is known for offering some of the best displays on a smartphone and with the Galaxy S22, it has bucked that trend.
performance and battery
Samsung Galaxy S22 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in India coupled with 8GB RAM. Of course, for the Samsung Galaxy S22 flagship, speed or agility isn’t an issue. I compared it with the iQoo 9 Pro Legend, which comes with 12GB of RAM paired with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, and the Asus ROG Phone 5s which comes with the Snapdragon 888+, which delivers much higher speeds. Runs (both the fastest Android phones on my person), and the Galaxy S22 was as fast as either of these high-performance gaming phones. At times, it made certain apps load faster than both the iQoo 9 Pro Legend and the Asus ROG Phone 5s. App loading time is minimal, and there are no app crashes or mistouches.
While it is super fast, the Samsung Galaxy S22 heats up quite quickly and quite a bit. While gaming or multitasking, or doing things like making backups or downloading heavy files, or even charging, the Samsung Galaxy S22 does get hot, and it gets quite hot if you’re using it without a cover. goes. The camera on the Samsung Galaxy S22 is one of the best on any Android smartphone. There’s a 50-megapixel primary shooter with PDAF and optical image stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with support for 3X optical zoom. Despite not being a flagship-flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S22’s camera is nothing short of flagship quality. The pictures are very clear. The colors are extremely accurate and the detailing on the images is superb.
The AI is very low on processing, and the images that do come out are very editable and not overexposed at all. For some, images may seem dull and less vibrant. For images in well-lit environments, the Samsung Galaxy S22’s camera is as good as the iPhone for still images. The Samsung Galaxy S22 has 3X optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom and images are crisp and clear with 3X zoom, while 30x zoom is also quite cool and shows things that are far away from you.
In low light, however, the processing is visible. While the images are again very detailed, night shots feel more processed and not as life-like as well-lit photos. Of course, images also look great in low-light night environments and are on par with some of the best phone cameras, if not better. Portrait mode on the Samsung Galaxy S22 also works great and the AI cuts the edges quite well. For people it works quite well, whereas on objects, the AI processing is a bit obvious (not that it works poorly).

Samsung Galaxy S22 is one of the most desirable Android smartphones in the market currently. It looks and feels very premium when you hold it with the flat design and chrome rails, and it feels very light to hold in your hands.
