Samsung Galaxy A52: Latest security update brings RAM Plus feature to Samsung Galaxy A52 – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy A52 Receiving a new security update. Although it updates the Android security patch in the month of October, one of the major highlights of the update is RAM Plus Speciality.
The RAM Plus feature allows users to virtually expand their device’s in-built RAM up to 4GB. This helps in improving multitasking on the phone and enhances the overall performance.
Let us know that this feature was rolled out for Galaxy A52 5G users last month. This time Samsung is rolling out the RAM Plus feature in the 4G variant of the phone. As mentioned by SamMobile, the firmware version A525FXXU4AUI3 should have the new feature. It also fixes over 60 vulnerabilities on the phone.
Interested people can check for updates by going to Settings Samsung Galaxy A52 smart Fone. Once they have installed the update on their device, the RAM Plus feature can be accessed from the Settings > Battery & device care > Memory menu.
What is RAM Plus Feature?
As mentioned above, the RAM Plus feature allows users to expand their phone’s memory virtually. It uses memory from storage to enhance multitasking. Users can literally expand the phone’s RAM up to 4GB.
The primary purpose of having virtual RAM is to improve memory management. With the increase in the size of apps and games, having virtual RAM will help your phone keep more apps open on RAM.
samsung Samsung has already rolled out this feature in Galaxy A52 5G, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy S21 series. With the addition of the Galaxy A52, the current number increases to four Samsung devices. Some Realme phones also offer this feature as Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE). While other brands like Oppo, Xiaomi are considering virtual RAM in smartphones.
