Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath watched Akshar Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj at a special screening in Lucknow on Thursday. Manushi Chhillar and the film’s director Chandraprakash Dwivedi were also present at the screening. After watching the film, the Chief Minister appreciated the performance of Akshay Kumar and congratulated the entire team of Samrat Prithviraj. “Akshay Kumar has depicted history beautifully India in his film. That is why I congratulate the team,” UP CM Yogi Adityanath was quoted as saying by Indiatoday.in. He also announced to make the film tax free in the state.
Earlier on Wednesday, Akshay Kumar talked about how Yogi Adityanath will watch his film and said, “It is an honor for us that the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath ji is watching our film which is based on past life and courage. Is. Hindu Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan who shed every drop of blood in his body to protect Mother India.
“Our film salutes the courage and valor of the mighty king and we hope that the people of our country will be inspired by his values of defending their motherland at any cost,” he was quoted as saying by E-Times.
Samrat Prithviraj will hit the theaters tomorrow i.e. on June 3. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and he Bollywood beginning of miso World 2017 Manushi Chhillar. In the film, Akshay will be essaying the role of warrior king Prithviraj, while Manushi will be seen essaying the role of his girlfriend, Samyukta.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also building Film City to woo filmmakers.
