The young man died in the night in the city. The bike rider had an accident on the current flyover in Maheshtala. The bike lost control and hit the guard’s wall hard. After the collision, the youth fell from the top of the flyover and fell on the trunk road.
This painful accident happened on Friday night on the Samprati flyover of Maheshtala. After getting the information Maheshtala police reached the spot. The young man was rescued in a bloody condition and taken to Bajwaj ESI Hospital. There the doctors declared him brought dead. After this the body of the youth was sent for post-mortem.
According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Sudeep Mandal. The deceased was a resident of Pornshree area. According to local sources, at the time of the incident, the youth without helmet was driving his bike from Behala Pornshree towards Batanagar at a high speed at around 11 pm. According to local sources, the bike lost control at Chandannagar near the post office and rammed into the wall of the flyover.
