Samantha Back from US After Myositis Treatment, to Resume Shoot With Vijay Deverakonda on This Date?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has returned from the US after her myositis treatment and is all set to resume work on her film with Vijay Deverakonda, claims a new report. Samantha took time off work after being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called myositis. While Samantha admitted that her recovery is taking longer than she expected, Pinkvilla has now reported that the Telugu star is all set to return to action.

A source told the entertainment portal that Samantha is back in Hyderabad after treatment and will resume shooting for Kushi next week. “Kushi’s new schedule may start from December 14 and Samantha is likely to join the shoot. However, the actress will confirm her availability closer to the date,” claimed the source. It has also been claimed that Samantha will also be prepping for the Indian version of Citadel, co-starring Varun Dhawan.

In an exclusive conversation with News18.com, Vijay Deverakonda said, ‘We have shot close to 60 percent. We were originally expecting to complete it by December, but now it has been postponed to next year due to various reasons. We are currently eyeing a February 2023 release.”

Vijay also said that he felt extremely fortunate to be working with Samantha in Kushi as she is a “wonderful” and “extremely hard working” co-star. The actor said he was in love with Samantha when he was in college and used to go to theaters to watch her movies on the big screen. Earlier this year, the actor was in Kashmir to shoot for the film.

Samantha also has Shakuntalam in the pipeline.
