Mumbai Police Crime Branch arrested both the accused involved in firing gunshots outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s house in Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area on April 14. An image of the accused, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal standing side by side in handcuffs along with crime branch officials has surfaced on the internet.
The Mumbai Police has confirmed that the two accused were caught in Gujarat’s Bhuj late on Monday night. A senior police official said both the accused are scheduled to be presented in a Mumbai court on Tuesday morning.
Two unidentified men fired four rounds outside Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments, where the actor resides, around 5:00 am on Sunday and fled the spot. The two miscreants had reportedly rented a house for a month in Navi Mumbai’s Panvel area, where Khan has a farmhouse.
Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s House, top Mumbai Police sources said and claimed that the attack was carried out by gangster Rohit Godara, who operates Bishnoi’s gang in Rajasthan.
Godara’s name surfaced after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi‘s brother Anmol Bishnoi allegedly took responsibility for the attack in a Facebook post and signed off the post crediting Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara and Kala Jathari.
