The name of the second son of film stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan has been revealed. Like Timur, the younger son is also named after the Mughal emperor. The younger son has been named Jahangir Ali Khan. A family member of Kareena has also confirmed this. However, he told that only Kareena and Saif will announce the name.

A prominent member of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s family told Bhaskar, ‘The child belongs to Saif and Kareena. In such a situation, he also has the right to keep the name. We neither had any objection to Saif/Kareena’s elder son being named Taimur and neither we had any objection to the younger son being named Jahangir.

Timur’s house name is Timtim. The younger son’s household name is Jeh.

He said, ‘Anyway, the name of Taimur’s house is Timtim, which is very beautiful. The younger son’s household name is Jeh. Jahangir is now officially. So we don’t have any problem with this name also. The family member said, “Saif has both the right and the right to name the religion to which he belongs. The son belongs to both of them, so it is better if both of them are allowed to make an official announcement. I don’t want to be quoted on this issue right now.

The matter came to light when the back page of Kareena’s book, Pregnancy Bible, was found writing Jehangir under the photo of the younger son. From this, speculations are being made that the name of the younger son is Jahangir.

Who was Jahangir?
The name of the Mughal emperor Akbar’s son Salim was Jahangir. Jahangir is a Parsi word which means Ruler of the world. Jahangir’s real name was Noor-ud-din Mohammad Salim. Jahangir was born on 31 August 1569. Jahangir held the power of India from 1605 until his death in 1627.

In 1599, when Akbar was busy with other wars, he declared Jahangir as his successor. After this, in 1605, Jahangir was crowned as the Mughal emperor. He died on 28 October 1627 during his visit to Lahore.
