The tradition of Christmas lunch was started by late Shashi Kapoor’s wife Jennifer Kendall and the same has been carried forward by their sons Kunal and Karan. For Christmas Brunch 2021, the attendees were – Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Taimur, Jeh Ali Khan, Aadhar Jain, Tara Sutaria, Armaan Jain, Anissa, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, Karisma Kapoor, Babita, Reema and Manoj Jain among others. Surprisingly, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt decided to skip the bash. The couple were seen celebrating Christmas eve at a dinner hosted by Alia’s mother Soni Razdan. Randhir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were also missing from the celebration.
This was Kareena’s first public appearance after she tested negative for Covid-19 on Friday. The actress had shared on Instagram, “I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you my dear sister for being our anchor through this nightmare. My BFF Amrita we did this. Prayers to my dear friends and family, Mary Pooni, Naina and everyone. For your DMs my fans. BMC for being so amazing and prompt. And finally, my dear husband being so patient, he was locked up in a hotel room away from his family. Merry Christmas everyone, stay safe!
