‘Saif Can Chori Thunder’: R Madhavan on Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha

Saif will be seen stepping into the shoes of R Madhavan’s character Vikram.

The first schedule of the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha was wrapped up in Abu Dhabi a few months back.

Shooting for the Hindi remake of R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi starrer 2017 Tamil film Vikram Vedha, starring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles. In a recent interview, R Madhavan shared his views on Saif Ali Khan and praised the actor. For the upcoming Hindi remake, Saif will step into the shoes of R Madhavan’s character Vikram. Madhavan said Saif will do a wonderful job.

Speaking to Mid-Day, the actor said that he is in touch with Saif and he is only cautious about the role. “He is a brilliant actor and always does a great job,” Madhavan said.

Madhavan expressed that Saif Ali Khan has the ability to “steal his thunder” in the Hindi remake. Madhavan said, “Saif becomes a different monster when he puts his heart and soul into a role. I am just lifting my finger and hoping that the film keeps my mark.”

The Hindi remake of the action thriller is one of the most awaited films. Hrithik Roshan will be seen in the role of Vijay Sethupathi in the film. The film will mark the collaboration of Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan after the 2002 film Na Tum Jaano Na Hum. The cast and crew of the remake wrapped up the first schedule in Abu Dhabi a few months back.

The Hindi remake is being jointly handled by Reliance Entertainment and T-Series in association with Friday Filmworks and S Shashikant’s YNOT Studios. Gayatri and Pushkar, who also directed the original Tamil film, will direct the upcoming Hindi remake. The Hindi remake is slated to release on September 30, 2022.
