Sai Pallavi, Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Love Story’ earns Rs 32.48 crore in 2 weeks

Love Story got a tough fight in the second week after the release of the “political thriller, Republic”.

Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya-starrer Telugu romantic drama “Love Story”, is doing well at the box office even though theaters are not working at full capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Love Story” was released on 24 September in over 1000 screens in India. The Sekhar Kammula directorial has collected a worldwide net collection of Rs 32.48 crore in its two-week theatrical business. According to the report of Tollywood.net, in terms of gross collection, the film has earned around Rs 58 crore since September 24 till date.

The film did an exceptional business in the first week but later slowed down due to the impact of Cyclone Gulab and the new release Republic. “Love Story” earned over Rs 7 crore on its first day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Earnings exceeded Rs 5 crore on both days 2 and 3. It collected Rs 2.52 crore earlier on Monday, and has been a gradual decline since then. Overall, the film has earned Rs 25.62 crore from both the Telugu states till 7 October.

The overseas collection has also been very good for the producers. Love Story has so far earned Rs 4.81 crore outside India. The film has earned Rs 2.05 crore in the rest of India, beyond the target markets of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Love Story was made in a budget of 30 crores.
