SAG Awards 2023: ‘Everything Everywhere Once Upon a Time’, one of the few recent indies to break big at the box office, dominated the event with four wins, followed by ‘The White Lotus’, remembered for Jennifer Coolidge Will, with two wins. “Everything Everywhere All At Once” continues to build momentum during marathon awards season, racking up top awards in the two weeks leading up to the Oscars. Michelle Yeoh was nominated for Best Actress for ‘Everything…’ and it took her time on the podium to see what her win meant to other Asian movie fans. Brendan Fraser earned best actor honors for his work as a morbidly obese man in ‘The Whale’.
On Sunday evening, the 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards were held at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Sunday night to honor acting performances of the year. It was streamed on the official YouTube channel of Netflix.
