Professor Faizan Mustafa, VC, NALSAR University of Law, said that it is sad that religion occupies such a central position in schools and educational institutions. He further added that religion should have been relegated to private space.
On hijab row, Faizan Mustafa said, “It is sad that religion is occupying such a central position in our schools and educational institutions. Ideally, as a secular state, religion should have been relegated to the private space and it should not have any space in Public Square.”
