A war correspondent for Russia’s RIA news agency was killed and three other Russian journalists were wounded in shelling near the front line in Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhia region on Saturday, Russia’s Defense Ministry said.
The ministry said Ukraine launched an artillery attack on the journalists using cluster munitions. Reuters was not immediately able to verify the Defense Ministry’s account.
