Russian fast food chain Vakusno & Tochka, or “Tasty and That It”, said Big Hit would be available from February next year and would return as a “Kids Combo”, a product similar to McDonald’s Happy Meals. said in Reuters.

The launch comes as McDonald’s sold its Russian restaurateur to businessman Alexander Gower after announcing a complete exit from the country after sending thousands of troops to Moscow. ukraine in February.

The company said that continuing to operate in Russia “is no longer sustainable, nor is it in line with McDonald’s values”.

With the entry of Big Hit, Vkusno and tochka CEO Oleg Parov said the company has overcome supply chain issues and is increasing its share in a market dominated by foreign chains.

However, there are restrictions on the colors and products a dandruff can use. The Big Hit can’t use a Big Mac or use McDonald’s-style sauce.

“(The Big Hit) has its own sauce and a slightly different composition, a different layout of ingredients, but it is very good in terms of quality and taste,” said Oleg Parov.

“We hope that Russian consumers will appreciate Big Hit and it will become as much a symbol of Vkusno and tochka as Big Mac is a symbol of McDonald’s,” he said.

McDonald’s withdrew from Russia in May during the country’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, closing 850 locations.

Within no time, the stores were re-branded with a new name – Vakusno i Tochka, and a slogan that said: “The name changes, the love stays”.

The logo replaced McDonald’s iconic golden arches with two fries and a hamburger patty against a green background. The name ‘Vakusno i Tochka’ translates to “Delicious, that’s all”.

After McDonald’s pulled out, Vkusno and Tochka opened their first store in Moscow’s Pushkin Square, selling around 120,000 burgers on the first day, breaking the record set by McDonald’s.
