Opposition uproar continues in Parliament over Pegasus espionage, agricultural laws and other issues. On Thursday also, Parliament could not work due to the noise. In such a situation, the proceedings of both the houses were adjourned till 11 am on Friday. As soon as the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha began, the opposition started shouting slogans, after which the house was first adjourned till 12 pm, then till 2 pm and then for the day.

This was the situation in the Lok Sabha. Due to the uproar, the first proceedings had to be adjourned till 11.30 am. Then the proceedings started again, but the commotion continued. In such a situation, the House had to be adjourned till 12.30. Even after this, the uproar did not stop, so the proceedings of the house were stopped till 2 pm. The opposition continued to create ruckus even after the proceedings resumed at 2 pm. In such a situation, the Lok Sabha was also adjourned till 11 am on Friday.

Three bills were passed in the midst of an uproar before both the houses were adjourned for the day. The Coconut Development Board (Amendment) Bill, the Factoring Regulation (Amendment) Bill were passed in the Rajya Sabha, while the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill and the Inland Vessels Bill were passed in the Lok Sabha without debate.

Speaker’s warning to those throwing papers
As soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings began, Speaker Om Birla condemned the paper tearing incident that took place on Wednesday. He said that MPs should take care that such incidents do not happen in Parliament. If this happens further then action will be taken. Let us tell you that in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, opposition MPs threw pamphlets towards the speaker and raised slogans of Khela Hobe.

Adjournment motion on Pegasus spy case
Senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Manish Tewari gave Adjournment Motion Notice demanding discussion on Pegasus espionage case. Besides them, Tamil Nadu Congress MP B Manickam Tagore also gave Adjournment Motion Notice in Lok Sabha demanding discussion on Pegasus issue in the presence of PM Narendra Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah.

Work done only 4 hours in the first week
In the first week of the monsoon session, opposition parties in both houses of Parliament created ruckus over three new central agricultural laws and the Pegasus espionage case, among many other issues. Last week only on Tuesday, the Rajya Sabha could function normally for four hours, when the situation in the country due to Corona was discussed on the basis of mutual agreement between all the parties.
