RRR: Even chilly weather and strong winds cannot beat the enthusiasm of Ram Charan fans; Here’s the proof

Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Not only in India, but fans all over the world are waiting for it. Recently, Ram Charan’s fans in Pittsburgh (USA) decided to send him love and wishes ahead of the film’s release. In pictures that have surfaced online, fans can be seen standing amid -11 degree Celsius chill and 30 mph gusty winds as they hold letters that read together, “RRR Team. Ram Charan USA.” If reports are to be believed, 15 families had gathered for this lovely gesture.

For the unversed, RRR is based on the lives of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. These two roles are played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.

Meanwhile, the makers of RRR have also released the film’s celebration anthem today. It is a peppy folk song in which Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt can be seen showing off their moves. The name of the song is Athara Jenda in Telugu and Sholay in Hindi.

RRR has been postponed several times and will now release on March 25. The film was supposed to hit the big screens on January 7, but was postponed due to a sudden spike in the coronavirus cases. The makers released a statement just two days before the scheduled release and announced the postponement. “Despite our tireless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. Since many Indian states are shutting down cinemas, we are left with no option but to ask you to keep your enthusiasm. We have written The Glory of Indian Cinema had promised to bring it back, and at the right time, we will,” the statement read.

While the film will now release on March 25, its Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions will be available on ZEE5. It will also be streamed on Netflix in Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish.
