Through a series of presentations, RPF women personnel ranging from sepoys to gazetted officers discussed the current issues, operational constraints, traditional male mindset, enabling ecosystem for performance, grievances, use of technology in the form of gender neutrality, women force personnel presented as carriers of change etc. A wide range of issues were discussed with suggestive solutions in the larger interest of safety of life and property on the nationwide rail network.
The conference was attended by regional RPF chiefs and around 600 women RPF personnel from across the country and of all ranks. It was addressed by DG/RPF who spoke on the burning issues brought to the fore, assured policy intervention and sympathetic redressal of grievances. He appreciated the efforts of women personnel especially in the field of women safety and encouraged them to enrich themselves with increased capability to address the dynamic challenges of the future.
