There is a village in Kutch district of Gujarat, whose streets and localities are known as flower and vegetable beds. The name of the village is Nani Nagalpar, which is now developing as a role model in terms of cash crop production. The farmers here supply 7 to 8 tonnes of vegetables and 2 to 3 tonnes of flowers every day across the district.

Vegetables and flowers are supplied across the district
Sarpanch Samjibhai Dhanjibhai Hirani said that 8 tonnes of vegetables are being transported from here to the entire Kutch every day. According to Panchayat member Hitesh Bhai Khimjibhai Rathod, flowers are delivered to the famous shrine of Mata Mata and Narayan Sarovar before the aarti.

There are 200 fields of vegetables and fruits
A person from the village told that earlier we used to do farming by traditional indigenous method, then adopted drip irrigation method. Apart from this, farmers do about 50% organic farming. There are 200 fields of fruits and vegetables here. There are 15 boreholes in the village. From here water is supplied till Anjar, Adipur-Kandla and Gandhidham.

There is no criminal case in the village
Hemantbhai Rathod, head of the Mistry society, said that this village is close to the Tehsil headquarter Anjar city, so stray animals come while roaming. Gaushala has been made for them, so that the fields are not harmed. Sarpanch Hirani proudly says that till now no criminal case has happened in the village. Apart from this, the villagers have built their own Sanjeevani Hospital on two acres of land in the village itself.
