Mumbai: Good news for all Kartik Aaryan fans. The actor is all set to return as the legendary ‘Rooh Baba’ in the upcoming horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Kartik shared a horror teaser of the film on Instagram, captioning it as, “Rooh Baba Returns Diwali 2024 #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”
Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the third installment of the film is all set to hit the theaters on the occasion of Diwali 2024. In the 57-second-long teaser, the ‘Freddy’ actor says, “Kya laga kahani kahani ho gayi? Darwaza toh band hote hi hain…taaki ek din phir se khul sake,” followed by Arjit Singh’s famous song ‘Ami Je Tomar’ Came. Details about the lead actress of the film have been kept under wraps.
Soon after Kartik shared the spooky teaser, fans flooded the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons. Karthik titled the second installment of `Bhool Bhulaiyaa`, which emerged as one of the highest-grossing films of 2022. The film revolves around the story of a cursed ghost who wanders in an old mansion. However, hell breaks loose when a spirit trapped in an abandoned room for 18 years breaks free. The horror comedy takes an unexpected twist towards the end, leaving fans shocked. Meanwhile, Kartik will be seen in upcoming musical saga film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ opposite Kiara Advani, Hansal Mehta’s next ‘Captain India’ and director Kabir Khan’s next untitled film.
