Roof Collapse At Delhi IGI Airport Leaves 6 Injured

This morning, a significant incident occurred at Terminal 1 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport when the upper part of the roof collapsed unexpectedly. Several vehicles were trapped as a result. Police and the fire brigade team have responded to the scene.

Currently, reports indicate that six people have been injured in the accident, with one person rescued after being trapped inside a car.

Several individuals injured in the roof collapse at Terminal 1 have been admitted to Medanta Hospital. One person was initially trapped inside a vehicle but has since been rescued and is receiving medical attention, according to Fire Director Atul Garg. Rescue operations are ongoing at the scene, with numerous vehicles also damaged in the incident.

After evacuating people from the accident at Terminal 1 of Delhi Airport, efforts to remove the damaged vehicles have commenced. The fourth injured person has also been evacuated and hospitalized.

In total, six people have been injured in the accident and all have been admitted to the hospital. Further actions are being taken at the scene.
