Marathi actress Veena Jagtap recently appeared in Marathi comedy show Hey Taar Kahich Na and won the hearts of the audience with her ROFL story about her vacation in Kashmir going wrong. In the show, Veena told that she had gone to Kashmir with her mother and aunt (aunt) a few days ago. As soon as they reached Kashmir, it started raining. Hence, the actress and her family thought it was best to first spend some leisure time in the houseboat and then go to their hotel. He said that he had to take a Shikara boat to reach the houseboat. Veena further shared that when she was checking the shikara she noticed that the seating arrangement was damp. He called the driver of the boat and pointed him to the damp place. He was quite old.
Veena said, ‘I called the carrier and said, ‘Grandpa, it’s wet.’ He said, ‘No ma’am, it is cold now.’ He told me that because of the weather everything is so cold here that it seems wet but in reality it is not.’
The actress said she kept asking them to put a dry cloth on the seats but he said, ‘It’s not wet, it’s just cold’. Veena said she was adamant so the driver asked her to first board the boat and check herself before starting the ride. She said, ‘I was constantly telling him that I hated wet things.’
What happened after this left Veena and her family in a lot of shock but she too was shattered. She shared on the show that as she approached the boat and was about to set foot in it, she went away and fell into the Dal Lake. She was completely drenched when she came upstairs. He said, ‘It was minus 3 degrees’.
Seeing Veena getting wet, the boatman said gleefully, ‘Ma’am, it is wet now.’
