The India cricketer was involved in a serious car accident on the Delhi Dehradun highway while he was on his way to Roorkee to meet his mother on 30 December.

India cricketer Rishabh Pant thanked two people in his first public reaction after his accident that left him with multiple injuries. In his first Insta post, the 25-year-old Pant said that he would be ‘eternally indebted and grateful’ for the help he received from Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar, who ensured that he reached the hospital on time.

Pant, who is undergoing treatment in Mumbai, underwent a successful third surgery, he told his fans in a social media post. In a series of tweets, Pant said that his road to recovery has begun after three surgeries at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he was brought from a private hospital in Dehradun on January 4.

“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and well wishes,” Pant wrote. said on Twitter.

Apart from this, he also put a picture of Spiderman on his Instagram story. Pant got associated with this Marvel superhero after he was caught singing on the stump mic: “Spiderman, Spiderman.”

The image shows a small action figure of the Marvel superhero and the caption read: “Grateful, grateful and blessed.”

Earlier he said that he would be eternally grateful to these two gentlemen who helped him reach the nearest hospital.

“I may not be able to thank everyone personally, but I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and made sure I reached the hospital safely. Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar, Thank you. I will always be grateful and indebted,” he said.

“I would also like to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors and physios from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to seeing you all on the field,” he added.

He was kept at Max Dehradun, from where he was taken to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he was kept under the direct supervision of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala.
