Veteran actor Satish Kaushik passed away on Thursday due to a heart attack. After playing Holi with friends and family in Delhi, the actor complained of uneasiness and was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. He was 66 and is now survived by his wife Shahi Kaushik and their 10-year-old daughter Vanshika. The demise of Satish Kaushik has come as a deep shock to his fans and industry friends. his best friend and veteran actor Anupam Kher is heartbroken and claims that it will be difficult for him to recover from this loss.

Who is Satish Kaushik’s wife?
Satish Kaushik’s wife’s name is Shashi Kaushik. Both got married in 1985. She is a producer and is known for the film Choriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti. Although Shashi is not active on the public front, she is often seen with Satish Kaushik at award functions and events. The two shared a very close bond and have been together for more than 30 years.

Satish Kaushik and Shashi have a daughter who is 10 years old. In 1996, the veteran actor lost his two-year-old son Shanu Kaushik. Then in 2012, at the age of 56, Satish welcomed their daughter Vanshika after 18 years of marriage. Vanshika was born through a surrogate mother.
Meanwhile, on March 7, Satish Kaushik attended Javed Akhtar’s Holi party and then celebrated Holi with the family. Next morning he went to Delhi to celebrate Holi with his NSD and childhood friends. But after playing Holi, he was feeling restless. After complaining of uneasiness, he was taken to Fortis Hospital but he died in the car late at night. When the relatives reached the hospital, he was declared brought dead.
Satish Kaushik’s last post on his official Twitter account was a series of pictures from the annual Holi celebrations organized by renowned lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar in Mumbai on March 7. She shared several pictures from the party with Akhtar, Richa-Ali and Mahima Chowdhary and wrote, “Colorful Happy Fun #Holi Party from Janki Kutir Juhu @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi Newly married beautiful couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha Congratulations to all Happy Holi to #friendship #festival #Holi2023 #colors.”
