Tirupur: Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) officials on Monday arrested a revenue inspector while accepting a bribe.
The complainant, a gravel vendor, had approached DVAC and claimed that Senthil Kumar, revenue inspector of Pongalur village, had demanded Rs 30,000 from him for carrying on his business. Later, he agreed to help Rs 25,000.
A team of DVAC caught Senthil red handed while taking Rs 25,000 from the complainant. news network
