Gurgaon: A section of Malibu Town Residents have criticized the Town and Country Planning Department (DTCPThe October 27 drive to demolish several unauthorized structures allegedly encroaching on the society’s Green Belt and Service Road against the interest and safety of around 2,000 families residing in Sector 47 township.

By sealing the gensets, the DTCP has put residents in trouble, especially with so many people still working from home and many children preparing for their pre-board exams,” Nath said.

Suresh Dhundia, a resident of Malibu Town, told TOI that after handing over the letter, the DTCP had assured him that there would be no further demolition without a hearing as boom barriers and generator sets were installed with the consent of the residents.
