Bhanu encourages Karthik and Padmavathi’s relationship; she urges Padmavathi to accept his proposal. Padmavathi’s father Rama Chandraiah (K Viswanath) refuses; as a consequence, she flees from home to marry Karthik. The story takes an interesting turn after Padmavathi dies in an accident.
