Later, she made her acting debut in 1991 with the film Eeramana Rojave. The movie was written, directed, and produced by Keyaar. The film also stars newcomers Shiva, Srividya, and Nassar in pivotal roles and received positive reviews from critics. It was later remade in Hindi as Abhi Abhi in 1992. After this success, Mohini never looked back.
