Reliance Consumer Products Limited, the FMCG arm and a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, on Thursday launched its indigenous made-for-India consumer packaged goods brand Independence in Gujarat.

Introduced to consumers and grocery partners on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj at Akshardham, Ahmedabad, INDEPENDENCE offers a wide range of products under multiple categories including staples, processed foods and other daily essentials.

Reliance Director Isha Ambani said, “I am delighted to announce the launch of our very own FMCG brand Independence, which specializes in high quality and affordable products including edible oils, pulses, cereals, packaged food and other daily need products. Consumer, Manufacturer, Distributor and Grocer in India. INDEPENDENCE products are crafted with a distinct understanding of the needs of the Indian consumer and will surely find a place in Indian homes, as they are not only made in India but made for India.

With an aim of shared prosperity, the company is collaborating with business partners including manufacturers and grocery stores to create high quality products and empower them with better business opportunities. In the coming months, the company plans to scale up the launch further to cover FMCG retailers across Gujarat.
