Varanasi: With the increased recovery rate of 94.17% and reduced positivity rate of 1.73%, the Covid-19 situation continued to improve in Varanasi district on Monday.
According to the daily medical bulletin, out of 3,878 test reports 67 persons were tested positive for Covid-19, while 92 patients including four in hospital facilities and 88 in home isolation were declared cured in the district. Currently, there are 748 active cases of Covid-19 in Varanasi.
In Jaunpur districtwhich recorded 92.73% recovery rate, 15 persons tested covid positive, while 17 patients in home isolation were declared cured on Monday. Currently, there are 130 active cases of in Jaunpur. Ballia district reported five new Covid cases on Monday. Currently, Ballia has 27 active cases. tnn
