Maxwell has missed the first few matches for RCB and will miss the third match against RR on Tuesday as he has been signed to Cricket Australia (CA). The 33-year-old, however, will be available for selection for RCB’s fourth match in IPL 2022 against Mumbai Indians on April 9.

“From the perspective of Cricket Australia, there is no contracted player available before 6 April. So, no matter when they get here, no one can play until the 6th. We are well aware of this, like any other side, we have planned for it. Maxi will be with us and will be available from 9th (April) onwards.”

Australia is playing a limited overs series against Pakistan in Lahore, and whether or not a Cricket Australia-contracted player is in the team, he cannot play anywhere else until his team’s engagement for that particular series is over. .

RCB will be back on the field after a hiatus of five days, and looking at the clash against Royals, Hesson told RCB Bold Diaries on Tuesday that his side will have to adapt quickly after playing their first game at the Wankhede. Last two matches at DY Patil Stadium.

“Both of our games have happened at DY (Patil Stadium) which is a vastly different surface and different surroundings, different boundary dimensions. Hence our first challenge at Wankhede – we have to adapt to the different sizes of borders, whether on a used surface or a new one. We know dew is about to fall, so it’s not an excuse for anyone. We just have to deal with it,” Hesson said.

With three former RCB players Devdutt Padikkal, Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini now in the RR camp, Hesson felt it would not benefit his team.

“It probably helps both sides. They know a lot about us and we know a lot about them. So, once again it probably depends on how well people cope with pressure that day.” Deals. ” They said.
