Ravichandran Ashwin can seem like a good client but can be overly fiery while playing. Such a scene was on display when Kolkata Knight Riders took on Delhi Capitals in Sharjah. Ashwin, who has been in the news for all the off-field reasons, had a verbal exchange as he was caught at the hands of Tim Southee, leaving his millions of fans in a tizzy. The incident happened in the 19th over of the innings. Capitals were in dire need of some runs when Ashwin took matters into his own hands while launching Southee. But Nitish Rana caught him in his place. While going out, the two exchanged a few words. Later, KKR captain Eoin Morgan also joined in as things went awry. Ashwin has been in the news for the wrong reasons for some time now. Despite his impressive performance against Somerset in the home match, he was first dropped from the team for his Test debut against England at Trent Bridge. Later, he revealed that he was on line to play the second Test at Lord’s, but was sidelined due to a drastic change in the weather in London on the morning of the match. He ultimately didn’t play any game and his fans blamed Virat Kohli for the luck that happened to him. He was also in danger of being dropped for the T20 World Cup, but later sealed the deal. Some media reports claimed that Kohli did not want him in the team as he was in favor of his RCB teammate Yuzvendra Chahal.
