Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Ravi Teja’s fans had yet another reason to celebrate Sankranti with more enthusiasm with the ‘Mass Maharaja’ of the Telugu film industry announcing the launch of his 70th film ‘Narkasur’ on Friday. The film, directed by Sudhir Varma, was launched in the presence of mega star Chiranjeevi, who clapped for the opening shot. The film will hit the screens on 30 September this year.
The first look of the film, showing Ravi Teja in a smoldering avatar, is already teasing the netizens.
Work on the film started with Pooja on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. Sources close to the unit say that the entire shoot will begin by the end of this month.
Actress Anu Emmanuel, who is a part of the film, joined the puja. Sharing his pictures at the puja, Emmanuel simply said, “My next in Telugu, ‘Ravanasur’.”
Ravi Teja also shared his excitement on social media. The star cast includes Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Megha Akash among others.
Produced by Abhishek Nama, the film has dialogues by Srikanth Visa and Vijay Karthik Kannan behind the camera. The music for the film is to be composed by Harshvardhan Rameshwar and Bhim Sesirold.
