Rashmika Mandanna, known for her performances in films like Pushpa and Animal, is among the most successful actresses of the current generation. She is currently occupied with several big-budget projects lined up for release by the end of this year and 2025. While her highly anticipated Pan-India film Pushpa 2: The Rule is gearing up for a release on December 5, she also has Sikandar opposite Salman Khan, Chhavaa with Vicky Kaushal and Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana in her kitty. The actress reportedly has been working double shifts to fulfil these commitments.
Rashmika is shooting for the last leg of Pushpa 2: The Rule and Sikandar simultaneously. According to a Pinkvilla report, the Sita Ramam actress has been working tirelessly to meet the demands of both shoots. “Rashmika has been working nonstop on set for the past few days, filming double shifts to meet the demands of her hectic schedule. She has been juggling the final phase of Pushpa 2: The Rule and her other commitments, including the ongoing shoot for Sikandar,” said a source close to the actress.
The report mentions that the actress has been rushing to two different film sets on a daily basis. After finishing the shooting for the final leg of Pushpa 2 in the morning, she rushes to the sets of Sikandar and shoots for her part.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited action drama Pushpa 2: The Rule features Allu Arjun in the lead. Helmed by Sukumar and backed by Dil Raju, the film is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise and also features Fahadh Faasil in key roles.
Recently, the makers of Pushpa 2 unveiled a new poster of the film featuring Rashmika as her beloved character Srivalli along with Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj. The film’s official teaser will reportedly be released in mid-November.
Sikandar, on the other hand, marks Rashmika’s first collaboration with superstar Salman Khan. Directed by AR Murugadoss, known for his projects like Ghajini and Holiday, the film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and will hit the theatres on Eid 2025.
Apart from that, she also has a period action drama Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal. Helmed by Laxman Utekar, the film was earlier supposed to clash with Pushpa 2. However, the latest developments suggest that the makers have now decided to postpone the release of the film. A new date will be announced soon.
