Jhajjar Police has placed a reward of Rs 25,000 each on two accused, who are absconding after committing the rape of a girl from West Bengal who had come to join the farmers’ movement on the Tikri border. In this case, accused Anoop Chinaut and Ankur Sangwan are absconding since the incident. For the arrest of both, the team of SIT formed under the leadership of Bahadurgarh DSP is continuously raiding. However, the SIT has not got any big success so far.

SP Rajesh Duggal said that on May 9, 2021, there was an incident of molestation and rape of a girl from West Bengal in support of the movement in the area of ​​Kisan Andolan area running on Tikri border. Police said that on April 11, 2021, the victim had left West Bengal with five persons Anil Malik, Jagdish Brar, Ankur Sangwan, Anoop Chinaut and a woman. The victim’s father had told the SIT that his girl was staying with Anoop Chinaut and Anil Malik in their tent, where the incident took place.

On the complaint of the victim’s father, a case has been registered against the accused in the police station city Bahadurgarh in 120B, 365, 354, 376D, 342 and 506. In the police case, the SIT is continuously raiding to nab three accused Anil Malik resident of Naurangabad Jatan Hall Pochanpur Delhi, Anoop resident of village Chinaut district Hisar and Ankur resident of village Mandola district Charkhi Dadri. The anticipatory bail applications of two accused Anoop Chinaut and Ankur Sangwan involved in this incident have also been rejected. Now the police has placed a reward of 25-25 thousand on both of them.
