Ranvir Shorey claimed the makers of Bigg Boss OTT 3 had a “soft spot” for Sana Makbul and stated that the actress did not add anything “positive” to the show.

A day after Sana Makbul emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir Shorey accused the makers of the controversial reality show of being biased towards the actress. Both Ranvir and Sana were the finalists on Anil Kapoor’s hosted show. While Sana took the trophy home, Ranvir was the second runner-up.

After the finale, the Singh Is Kinng actor spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha during which he called Sana Makbul an “undeserving” Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner. He claimed the makers had a “soft spot” for her and stated that Makbul did not add anything “positive” to the show.

“I don’t think she has done anything positive in the house. Other than going on and chanting, ‘I am selfish’, ‘I want to win’ or assuming that the show is about how much bad talk you can give and calling it determination, I don’t think she has added any positive influence on anything in the house or on the housemates. I don’t consider her the most deserving candidate. But yet, I think Bigg Boss had a soft spot for her somewhere. I feel she got the votes. That needs to be respected. Congratulations to her,” Shorey told us.

For Ranvir Shorey, either Armaan Malik or he should have been the winner. “Armaan could have been the winner. I could have been the winner,” he added.

During his stint on the reality show, the 51-year-old actor was constantly at loggerheads with Sana Makbul. The two often got into heated arguments and ugly fights. Asked if he ever regretted his words for Sana, Ranvir shared, “She said some harsh things to be and she got a befitting reply to that.”

It is no secret that Ranvir decided to participate in the show because he had no offers otherwise. Therefore, asked if he thinks his Bigg Boss journey might revive his career, Ranvir said, “I have no clue. I still don’t know what they have shown on the show, compared to what I experienced. I don’t know what was shown to people. I don’t know how people have reacted to it. I don’t even have my phone yet. I really can’t comment on what will happen from now on. I occasionally take part in reality TV shows. I intend to go back to what my core area or my profession is i.e. filmmaking, acting, and music. These are my passions and profession. If someway this show contributes positively to my professional life, I will be grateful.”
