New Delhi: Former IPL chairman and businessman Lalit Modi on Thursday (July 14) took the internet by surprise after he dropped a series of romantic pictures with Bollywood actresses and former beauty queen Sushmita Sen. Lalit, who is currently settled in London, called him his ‘better half’ and said that he is dating the ‘Aarya’ actress. Modi posted pictures from his holidays in Maldives and Sardinia on his social media and called it a “new beginning”.

Ranveer Singh, who performed at the closing ceremony of Tata IPL 2022 for some Bollywood blockbusters, was among the first celebrities to react to his pictures. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ star posted a love heart emoji and an evil eye emoji in the comments section of the pictures shared by Lalit Modi on Twitter.

Sushmita Sen was earlier in a relationship with model-actor Rohman Shawl. The two reportedly dated each other for about three years before calling it off. She announced their break-up in December 2021 with an Instagram post, writing, “We started out as friends, we stayed friends! The relationship had grown long… the love lasts.” She came up with the post with the hashtag #nomorespeculations.
Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe in 1994. She made her Bollywood debut in 1996 with the film ‘Dastak’. He has worked in films like ‘Biwi No 1’, ‘Do Not Disturb’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, ‘Tumko Na Bhool Payenge’ and ‘No Problem’. She returned to acting with the International Emmy nominated series ‘Aarya’ and also starred in the second installment of the show.
Sushmita Sen is a single mom to daughters Alisa and Renee. They adopted Renee in 2000, while Alisa joined the family in 2010. Renee made her acting debut with a short film.
