New Delhi: Bollywood’s power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have reportedly bought their first house together after marriage in Mumbai. The plush property is reportedly worth Rs 119 crore and now they are close neighbors to none other than Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Bhaijaan Salman Khan.
Reportedly, the huge palatial space has a total carpet area of 11,266 sq ft and an exclusive terrace of 1,300 sq ft. Ranveer Singh appeared on the cover of Esquire Magazine Singapore this month, making him the first Indian to do so. In an exclusive interview with the magazine, Ranveer talks about his childhood, big Bollywood dreams and life with wife Deepika Padukone.
When asked ‘what is he looking forward to celebrate in life?’, the actor quipped, “Deepika and I just bought our first house together, so we are building our house! I Moved to his place after we got married, so it’s been about four years now. But this is our first house together. Because he’s so busy with everything he does and I’m busy too, and he’s very homesick. she is very homely [the Hindi word for homebody], We don’t go out much and we love spending time with each other at home.
So, this house that we’ve got is a few hours away from the city; It is quiet, it is secluded and it is indeed the perfect place for us to spend our quality time. She put her heart into decorating it and she’s so proud of it, and I love seeing that childlike excitement and encourage her to do more of it. She is a closed interior decorator with very fluid creativity. I tease her that she is like a little girl with a doll house. She loves playing housewife, and I find her very cute. So, at this point of time, I want to spend quality time with my wife at home.”
