Prithvi Shaw scored a double century against Assam in the Ranji Trophy.

Often overlooked in all formats in the last 18 months, Prithvi Shaw rattled the Assam attack with an unbeaten 240 as Mumbai ended the first day of the Group B Ranji Trophy match at 397 for two.

Shaw hadn’t even scored 200 runs in his previous matches, but the kind of talent he has, it was just a matter of one innings and he smashed the poor Assam to all corners of the ground.
The Indian team is currently a block away in terms of vacancies across formats, but a player of Shaw’s quality might not be kept away for too long.
Hanuma crawls in Kotla
In stark contrast to Shaw’s innings, the other team India Returning aspirant Hanuma Vihari scored an unbeaten 76 off 202 balls to help Andhra post 203 for 3 against a weak Delhi bowling attack at the Feroz Shah Kotla.
