In an interview, Ranbir opened up about his role in Animal and the preparations he is making for it. Ranbir confirmed that he will strengthen the muscles for the film and will undergo special training for two months before shooting. Ranbir will be playing a younger version of his character and an older version and for the latter, he will sport a beefed-up look.

According to IANS, Ranbir said, “There is a younger version of the character where I will be the same, then the version of the character which is muscular, so it will take us a few months to build muscle and I think it is going to be a lot. For me Challenging. After Sanju, this will be the second time I’m doing this so I’m really looking forward to that journey with my trainer. As I get older, it gets a little harder to lose fat I think my trainer really helped me understand my body better in terms of diet and fitness.”
