Ranbir Kapoor talks about his upcoming film Brahmastra
Brahmastra is the first time newlyweds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen together.
These days Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for his next film Brahmastra Part One. The film will hit the theaters on September 9 and the trailer will release on June 15. While fans are now eagerly waiting for the trailer of the much-awaited film, Ranbir Kapoor has now spilled the beans on his character.
During a recent event, Ranbir revealed that he will be playing the role of a DJ in Brahmastra. “I play Shiva, who is a DJ and he is born with a strange relationship with fire,” the actor was quoted as saying by Filmfare.
Ranbir said, “This is his journey into the world of ancient astras (weapons) and his connection to the realization of the divine connection with fire and the awakening of the Brahmastra.”
Just yesterday, Ranbir Kapoor went to Visakhapatnam for the promotion of his film. The actor was greeted by hundreds of fans upon his arrival at the airport. He was seen wearing a completely white outfit and needless to say, he looked absolutely charming. In a video being shared on social media, Ranbir can also be seen garlanding a crane as fans surround his car. In another clip, fans were seen hooting for their favorite actor. He was accompanied by Ayan Mukerji and SS Rajamouli. Although, Alia Bhatt Couldn’t join them as she is currently not in the country. These days the actress is shooting for her Hollywood debut.
For those unaware, Brahmastra is the first time newlyweds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The film will release in five Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
