Nawazuddin Siddiqui had confessed that he had a one night stand with a waitress in New York City. Excerpts from his book read, “Those years between 2006 and 2010 were also very unbelievable. The industry was starting to notice me… oddly enough, West was kind to me both in terms of first love and work. I was once in a cafe with my friend in the Soho area of New York City. The stunning waitress kept staring at me. ‘You? Are you an actor?’ He asked a rhetorical question. ‘Yes!’ I replied. ‘Which movie of mine have you seen? Gangs of Wasseypur?’ She said, ‘No, no,’ trying to remember. ‘Another movie!’ After a few moments, he replied: ‘Lunchbox!’ We were talking and let’s just say what happens in New York stays in New York…”
