Actor Ranbir Kapoor has revealed an endearing fear about his daughter Raha. The actor welcomed his daughter Alia Bhatt In November last year. Since his birth, Ranbir has been sporting a bearded look, which is in contrast to his usual clean-shaven look. The heavy bearded look is a part of his new film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. While fans are eager to see him in action in a never-before-seen avatar, the actor fears that Raha will not recognize him once he comes off the beard.

The Brahmastra actor admitted this when he appeared on Indian Idol to promote his new film Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkar. In a promo shared by the channel, a contestant got curious about his beard, asking him if his beard pricks his daughter when he hugs her. Ranbir admits it doesn’t seem like it, but he worries she won’t recognize him once he shaves off.

“I had to grow my beard because I had to shoot for (Animal). But since Raha was born, she has only seen me in this look. I am not afraid that the beard will sting her, I am afraid that after two months when the beard comes off, will she be able to recognize me? But after two months she will get used to (my look), but if she doesn’t recognize me, I will be heartbroken.”

Ranbir has recently been open about his daughter at press events. At a recent promotional event for his upcoming release Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkar, he described Raha’s smile and revealed how it ‘brings him back to life’. He shared how Raha has started smiling and said that it has made it difficult for him to leave the house.

“Well, it’s the most beautiful feeling. He has just started smiling for the last two weeks. And just to look at that smile, your heart breaks. I never feel like leaving home. This morning, to spend 20 minutes with her before my flight – it rejuvenates you,” he said.
