Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ gets a thumbs up in Bengal despite negative words – Times of India

Finally it’s the big day! After years of anxious waiting, director Ayan Mukerji finally got to release his much-anticipated ‘Brahmastra’. The magnum opus, featuring the power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead, hit the big screens on September 9 and that’s all Twitter is discussing currently. While some are super excited to see the performances by the ensemble cast and the amazing VFX used in ‘Brahmastra’, there are some who are still calling for the boycott trend. And as a result, Twitter seems to have divided.

However, in West Bengal, with a staggering 560 screen count, the film is getting rave reviews from the audience who rushed to theatres for the first day first show. Fans have hailed the performances, the superlative VFX works and the concept of the Astraverse.
